Basic Child Protection Workshop

This course is aimed at volunteers and staff that are working in a setting alongside children, without direct contact. The course will explore possible signs and indicators of abuse, aiming to increase confidence and understanding, to enable recognition of common causes for concern. The course will also identify how to respond appropriately to any concerns, and examine the importance of confidentiality, supporting equality and diversity, and professionalism when working alongside young children and their families.


Safeguarding for Early Years Practitioners Level 3

This course is appropriate for those working with children and families, and will explore how to assess potential levels of risk or harm to a child, and thresholds for intervention. The course will also cover latest legislation and guidance, using a child centred approach, and effective working with families and other professionals.


Advanced Safeguarding for Senior Practitioners (Level 4)

This course is suitable for those working in a nominated and designated role. The course will cover advice, guidance and supervision, supporting those taking action when thresholds are crossed, responding to allegations, multi-agency working and maintaining effective safeguarding practice.
